Jeans for Genes Friday 23rd September

On Friday 23rd September the school is taking part in the Jeans for Genes day. On this day children can come into school wearing jeans/jean shorts or jean skirts along with their normal school uniform with a donation of £1 to this worthwhile charity.

It is estimated that one in 25 children is affected by a genetic disorder and therefore 30,000 babies and children are newly diagnosed in the UK each year. The money raised by schools and workplaces on Jeans for Genes Day fund a range of initiatives that improve the lives of children affected by a genetic disorder.
